[Theres a small, petty desire in her to pull her hand back- to deny him that simple touch in evidence of the hurt he (and a dozen others) inflicts on her, to leave a sting. But she's too mature for that even in moments like these, and her small, pale hand is so easily engulfed in his. Despite herself a few of the tears slip silently down her cheeks, though she strives at least to keep them quiet, not let them hijack her voice or break her tone.]

Will it still be difficult if returning to your world wipes from your memory all trace of this place? Of all of us?

[Of me?]

Have you not wondered what will happen? ALASTAIR returns us to our worlds and what- allows us to remember everything about this place and all we have done here? Bring the madness of other worlds and gods and peoples back to our own lands?

[This is a question that has haunted her sleep, especially of late, the reason she has taken the extreme step of actually inking her formula theory into her skin rather than just trusting her mind to recall it precisely, as she recalls most all things. As she recalled Achilles- for now.]

Will you still return to your world and your glorious death if it means it shall be as if Mnemosyne herself plucked the memories from your head?
