PERSONALITY: Sieglinde presents herself as the mature and elusive Green Witch, Master of the Green Manor, of Wolfsschlucht Village, but she is a young girl who was raised in a rather strange combination of freedom and captivity.
Because she grew up in a position of power, Sieglinde wanted for nothing material in her life and became a bit spoiled by consequence, assuming people around her will simply respond to her orders and questions because everyone around her always has. As someone who always had servants, she didn't really know how to do a lot of basic things for herself, just expecting certain things to be done for her.
When it came to manners she could be (and still can be) quite rude unintentionally simply because none of those who attended her ever corrected her behavior. Staring at people overly long, eating with her hands with most unladylike gusto, asking things and demanding attention from people around her without imagining that someone might refuse or not be happy to give it... However, none of this is malicious or intentionally bratty- she really just doesn't know better or notice for the most part. When corrected she tends to be more than happy to change or learn new ways if it seems like it would be beneficial or make her more "normal".
And Sieglinde does learn fast. She is a natural genius, and this can make her somewhat smug, used to being the smartest in the room, and she can sometimes come off cocky or condescending without realizing it.

When given the rare opportunity to be around people her own age or when not under pressure to act as a leader, Sieglinde can be childish. Though she is very controlled and mature when she's in charge of a situation, she can be emotional and easily swayed when she is not, easily influenced by those who seem confident or knowledgeable. Though recent canon events lead to her being less trusting going forward, she has been naively trusting in the past.
Sieglinde is very used to healing and caring for others, and can act nurturing or strictly with patients as need calls for, regardless of how old they are in relation to her. She is also rather forgiving, having the intelligence to understand extenuating circumstances, when one might not be behaving like themselves, or when motives are well-intentioned but the action may not be.
Above all else she is curious, and devours everything new she can find out about... most everything. Though she will push and plead slightly for selfish reasons, she tends to cave and remember to try for selflessness. Because her sense of loyalty and her acceptance of the burdens placed on her is stronger than her personal desires, Sieglinde is inclined to accept her roles and the responsibilities that come with them, though it doesn't exempt her from resentment or regret. Even though she is still a child, and may act out on occasion, she ends up putting others before herself and trying her best to be what people need her to be- the wise, mature, and powerful Green Witch.
In recent canon, Sieglinde experienced a great deal of trauma in a very short time, and this affected her behavior coming into ALASTAIR. Pulled directly after hours in which she found out her entire life is a lie, she had to spent a lot of time rebuilding herself and discovering who she was going to be if not what she'd always thought herself to be. Since joining Audentes Sieglinde has become more secretive, a more adept liar, and more bitter, not morally comfortable with the things she's done and the things she's seen the team do on their missions- yet she has assisted and healed the team anyway because of self-imposed duty.
Having seen and experienced all she has in the last two years, she's grown up in many ways. She is steadier in violent situations, she is more mature in her thinking, more sensitive to cultural nuances, and since making a breakthrough on her quest to cure the Ultimate Magic, a bit less manic obsessive about her research. She's learned better how to act more "normal", and she's set to continue trying to pin down who is going to be now that she feels she's reclaimed the name "Green Witch".
ABILITIES: Sieglinde is considered in her world to be something of a natural scientific genius, demonstrating signs of advanced learning from a very young age such as advanced reading level and understanding of scientific topics such as chemistry. It's implied that genetics, her parents both being scientists of advanced caliber, is perhaps to thank for her prodigal intelligence.
