I suppose I think you shouldn't have to fill the gap. It's their job, not yours. Not trying to cast aspersions on your abilities or anything, you're massively capable, but starting from scratch for first aid on a sort of organism you've never encountered . . . that's their job.

Essentially what I do is regenerate cells, so I don't think it would be applicable at all. [Which stinks.] But I'm perfectly happy to gather materials if it would mean less busywork for you.
