The hairs on the back of Hellboy's neck stand up and he feels very much like having her stop, but he manages to keep his panic down. His body tenses up and his muscles coil, but he stays still.
And then it's over. And he can tell it worked.
Stretching his side experimentally, Hellboy looks over at Sieglinde with a mixture of renewed suspicion and, well, awe. Magic is strange and dangerous to him, but that doesn't mean it's not incredible.]
